Literature Text
Erwin knew he would be punished after death for the countless lives he had sacrificed to achieve his goals, for the countless hundreds of red, beating hearts he had offered up to the hungry maws of Titans. When the time had come for him to finally fulfill his own duty and die for the sake of humanity, he had expected hell, but this was far worse.
Immortal.
Inhuman.
Cursed to wander the darkness forever, to never know the warmth and light of the sun again. A monster that fed off the life force of others with a dark, insatiable hunger that drove him to the edge of sanity.
The only thing that kept him sane, that kept him human, was you.
And you had known for a while that you were going to die…
Your life force had been dwindling for years, slowly ebbing away with each passing day. The seconds of your life were ticking away before his very eyes, and more he tried to hold onto you, the faster you seemed to slip away. It was like trying to hold water in cupped hands, or remembering a dream – a hopeless endeavour.
Erwin was outside the walls when he felt it, the blood bond you shared beginning to weaken. He reigned in his white stallion sharply, turning to stare in the direction of the walls, the northern night sky all that could be seen for miles. Levi stopped beside him, eyeing his Commander warily.
“Erwin we can’t stop here. It’s barely nightfall; there could still be Titans active in the area.”
When Erwin did not reply, Levi followed his gaze back to the north, his expression turning grim and his voice growing soft.
“It’s her, isn’t it?”
He did not need an answer. He reached out to place a hand on his superior’s shoulder, squeezing ever so gently.
“Go. I’ll take over here.”
“Thank you. I’m sorry.” The blond man turned his gaze back to the walls. “I’m coming, [Name],” he muttered. “Please hold on just a little longer.” He set out at an alarming pace, body bent low over the horse’s back, eyes filled with grim determination.
Levi watched him depart. God speed Erwin.
“There’s nothing more we can do.”
The words rang in his ears, but he refused to believe them. He refused to accept that the small tugging sensation at the corners of his heart was you drifting away from him forever. I can save her. I have to save her…
He clutched your hand in his, grief ridden, but unable to cry. You watched him, your [e/c] eyes unfocused, eyelids bruised and drooping. Your lips were as pale as his skin, untouched by the light for so many years.
“I can save you, [Name],” he pleaded with you.
“Nothing can save me now. You can’t change fate, Erwin.” Your voice was so weak it made his heart ache. I can make you strong again!
“If you would just let me-”
“NO,” you cut him off, your voice stern, your expression immovable, and for a moment he saw who you once were – strong willed and independent, the woman he had fallen for. It lasted but a second before you lapsed into a fit of coughs, your frail body shaking with the force of each one. Once you had recovered, you lay back on the pillows. He felt your bond weaken a considerable amount.
“You were always stubborn, [Name]. Even now, when it could mean the difference between life and death for you…”
“What you are is not life. It’s existence. I want to live, Erwin. I want to walk in the sun in the fields outside the walls. I want to have a family with you.” Tears sprang to your eyes, and you glanced away to hide them. “But it wasn’t meant to be. This, here and now, is what was meant to be, just as your existence was meant to be. You can’t change fate.”
Erwin remained silent. He could not give you life, but he could not bear to see you die.
“Is not eternal existence with me enough?” he asked sadly.
“No, Erwin, it’s not enough.”
“But what’s tomorrow without you?”
“Tomorrow will be tomorrow. As will the next, and the one after. You will keep on existing, Erwin, because you have a purpose. Humanity needs you, Erwin! You were brought back for a reason, and I just know, once you fulfill it, we’ll see each other again.”
He remained silent, ocean blue gaze directed downward.
“Keep fighting, just a little longer, and I promise you’ll see me again."
A single tear escaped the corner of his eye, marking his face with lines of red.
“I love you, [Name], to death and beyond.”
You smiled up at him, your eyes glazing over.
“To death and beyond.”

Levi x Reader x Jean Promise Me
Levi was bitter. He was a bitter, forsaken, man that hadn’t a wish, a dream or a purpose in the world that meant shit to him anymore.
The funny thing is, he hadn’t always been bitter. But, years of fighting, killing, and destruction had stripped at his humanity until there was nothing left. He was an empty husk, cracked and discarded by the life that he lived and the loss he had witnessed.
Levi gazed around the room in disdain. His unloving eyes evaluating, judging, and dismissing everyone he saw.
Idiots. They are all idiots. Smiling…laughing…pathetic. If they only knew the

The teacup in your hand clattered against its tray as you walked down the hall on your way to Levi's office. You took in a sharp breath as another wave of arctic air assaulted your freezing skin; the only warmth you had was the steam from the hot tea you struggled to prevent from spilling. Each step on the cold floor allowed more chills to somehow seep through your boots, causing you to shiver violently.
You were worried for the sake of Levi's tea and decided that you couldn't keep such a timid pace in an environment with such a lack of heat, so you held the hot cup fi

Let Me Love You (Levi X Reader)
Much as you blame yourself
You can’t be blamed for the way that you feel
A soft knocking interrupted the comfortable silence that settled in Levi's room. The man looked up from from the boring paperwork he had been holding off for quite a while, and stared at the wood. "Name and reasoning." He said bluntly.
"It's me, Levi." A soft voice spoke out. Levi raised an eyebrow in confusion. It was definitely her. But she never sounded this shy or quiet. She was lively and outgoing, not as much as Hanji but enough to not get on the man's nerves.
"Come in." He said. The doorknob turned slowly as the girl stepped in. Her (h/c) hair gleamed in

I don't know what I just wrote O.O IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO TURN OUT THIS DEPRESSING I SWEAR. I actually planned to let Reader-chan live but the story had a different idea...
I kind of really like the idea of Erwin dying and going to hell for the sacrifices he made for the sake of humanity, but then the Shingeki gods are all like "uh uh we ain't done with you yet" and spit him back out again as some cursed being so he can keep fighting the Titans as punishment instead - an even worse hell. And he can't rest until his goal has been accomplished and the Titans are defeated O_O
